Our Foundations of Strength Training workshop is an ideal entry point for individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge of weightlifting. Whether you are brand new to lifting or aiming to perfect your technique by revisiting the basics, this workshop delivers a thorough initiation into the realm of strength training. It will equip you with the essential knowledge of all the ‘big lifts’ you would normally find on a strength training program. Encouraging you to take the next step of including this style of training into your regular routine.

Strength training offers numerous benefits, including increased muscle strength and tone, enhanced bone density, improved metabolism, and injury prevention. By engaging in regular strength training, you can boost physical performance, maintain strong bones, manage weight more effectively, and improve mental well-being through the release of endorphins.

In our practical workshop, you'll receive expert, personalised instruction to help you master the basics of strength training, including technique and form checking practice of compound lifts such as squats, deadlifts, bench press, and hip thrust. Our hands-on approach and individualised attention ensure you can practice proper techniques safely and effectively, building a strong foundation and confidence to navigate the gym and use equipment correctly.

In addition to technique, we cover essential topics like warm-up and cool-down routines and injury prevention. You'll learn how strength training can boost your overall health, from improved muscle tone and strength to enhanced metabolic function and bone density.

INCLUDED in the workshop price is 4x Class Pass to use on any Studio: Strong or Studio: Conditioning class held at The Studio, valid for 30 days after completing our foundations workshop!
