Stretch & Sketch with Jess
A stretch/yoga session followed by sketching, held on the first Friday of every month
Join us on the first Friday of every month for a brand new workshop combining creativity, mindfulness and gentle stretches. We’ll begin with 30 minutes of Yoga and Pilates inspired stretches to release tension build ups from the working week, followed by 45 minutes of sketching. We welcome absolutely all abilities to attend, you don’t need to be a seasoned artist or yogi to come along. Each Stretch & Sketch session will explore different creative mark making and drawing techniques, with a range of different subjects to draw inspiration from. This workshop's focus is creativity for mindfulness, and explores how we can enter a meditative state when we are taking part in creative crafts - we lose ourselves in the act of making, focused solely on the present moment. This helps to ease stress, anxiety and tension from the body and mind. All materials are provided.
